The focal range of the W100‘s lens (F2.8-5.2, 3X optical zoom Carl Zeiss lens) is 7.9 – 23.7 mm, which is equivalent to 38 – 114 mm. This 8.1 Megapixel Camera is very effective at ISO 400 (reaches 1.000 lines/image length in the centre of the image and low noise). But ISO for this camera goes up to 1250. While it uses Memory Stick Duo cards, also has a 64Mb build-in memory. It uses the NP-BG1 lithium-ion rechargeable battery and, not very remarkably, you are able to get up to 360 shots before it runs out.
